Charlene Casey – SassyBiker

Charlene Casey has created a way for female bikers to feel stylish on a motorcycle – or as she likes to call it, “getting sassified.” She finds her inspiration and tools in crystals – Swarovski crystals. From the initial design, concept, drawing, sketching and adhering of those crystals (all by hand), bling bling is the only thing you see.
SassyBiker was founded earlier this year as a groundbreaking way to allow female motorcycle riders to show off their love of riding in a more creative, sassy and female way. There is nothing dark, nothing black, and nothing too far fetched. From pink helmets to vibrant blue bike wraps, the search extends now too for colorful leather wear. Charlene may be a one woman show, but she has had the girl-power to create over 100 fanciful helmets in less than a year. Her phenomenon hit the pavement and is getting attention from female bikers as far as Canada and even Poland.
The SassyBiker canvas is in the form of helmets, motorcycles and coming soon, leather. She uses Swarovski crystals as her paint and creates custom images to enhance what was once a very manly – inspired helmet, and adds design, color, bling and female attitude. She can pretty much duplicate any idea to complement an already custom design on your motorcycle, or she can take from your inspiration and create beautiful designs that are sure to blow your mind.
Charlene has always had a love for jewelry and mosaics, and that love has turned into her passion. She says she became interested in motorcycle gear after learning to ride and discovered that most items were not brightly colored, much less, feminine. This passion has brought some of her clients to tears saying they love their “flashy lil thang,” to the ever so popular “it’s gorgeous” and “thank you for making me unique.”
In the brief SassyBiker existence, she has also created bike wraps – these almost “sticker-like” creations allow riders to customize a motorcycle at a fraction of the cost of a custom paint job. And the best part about – it can be interchangeable and allow you to almost have several outfits for your bike, for less than the cost of a single paint job. For the bike wraps, any simple design, spread, photo or image you may have can easily be blown up and “printed” onto an acrylic wrap and then installed over your bike like a sleeve.
